Website Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Crawlr website and web portals. They are separate from the Crawlr app terms, which govern the Crawlr iOS app.

1. Who we are

The Crawlr website and web portals are operated by Nascent Group Ltd ("Crawlr", "we", "us"), registered in England and Wales (Companies House no. 16259791), registered office 48 Langham Street, London W1W 7AY. You can reach us at legal@crawlr.com.

2. Scope and acceptance

These terms apply to the public website at crawlr.com, the Partner portal, the Ambassador portal, team membership features, and public share pages at crawlr.com/u/[username]. By using the website or creating a portal account you agree to these terms.

The Crawlr iOS app is governed by separate app terms. If you use the app, those terms — not these — apply to your use of it.

3. Eligibility and portal accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create a partner or ambassador account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

4. Partner subscriptions

Partner accounts may be free or paid. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe.

• Plans and add-ons. We offer tiers (for example Free, Premium, and Analytics) and may offer per-venue add-ons. The features and price of each plan are shown at the point of purchase.
• Billing cycle. Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly in advance, depending on the cycle you choose.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until cancelled. Your renewal date is shown in your billing settings.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period (your access continues until then); we do not charge you again after that.
• Refunds. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, including for partial periods after a mid-cycle cancellation.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend or downgrade paid features until payment succeeds.
• Price changes. We will give you reasonable advance notice of any price change before it takes effect at your next renewal; you can cancel before then if you do not accept the new price.
• Self-service billing. You can manage your subscription, payment method, and invoices through the Stripe customer portal linked from your account.

5. Ambassador programme

Ambassador accounts are free. The ambassador programme may include referral rewards, competitions, and leaderboards. Participation is subject to additional programme rules we publish from time to time. Rewards and competitions may have eligibility criteria and may be changed or withdrawn. Ambassadors must not engage in spam, misrepresentation, or any conduct that brings Crawlr into disrepute. We may remove ambassadors who breach these terms or the programme rules.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse the website or portals; attempt to gain unauthorised access; interfere with security, rate limiting, or other users; scrape or harvest data except as expressly permitted; upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; or use the service to send spam. We may rate-limit, suspend, or block access to protect the service.

7. Content and intellectual property

The Crawlr name, branding, website, and software are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the website and portals for their intended purpose. Content you submit (such as venue information or profile details) remains yours, but you grant us a licence to host, display, and use it as needed to provide the service.

8. Third-party services

The website and portals rely on third-party providers, including Supabase (hosting, authentication, storage), Stripe (payments), Fly.io (hosting), Apple MapKit (maps), and Brevo (transactional email, where enabled). Your use of features that depend on these providers may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website and portals are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Because partner accounts are used for business purposes, our total liability to a partner is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, and costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or content you submit, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will continue to apply.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these website terms from time to time. Because they cover only the website and web portals, they can change independently of the app terms. The "Last updated" date below shows when they last changed; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
